Description
We are partnering with a well-established law firm in Southeastern Massachusetts to hire a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support financial operations in a fast-paced, professional services environment with a focus on real estate transactions. This role includes reconciling operating and IOLTA/trust accounts, tracking disbursements, deposits, and wire transfers, maintaining accurate closing ledgers, and ensuring compliance with IOLTA and REBA requirements. The Bookkeeper will also prepare Massachusetts DOR forms and IRS 1099-S filings, generate financial summaries, assist with year-end reconciliation, and maintain organized, audit-ready electronic records. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within a law firm or real estate closing office, and proficiency with Qualia or a similar title/escrow accounting platform. A strong understanding of trust accounting and escrow fund management is essential, along with exceptional accuracy, organization, and the ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
