Global cloud-computing B-to-B leader located North of Boston seeks 8+ year corporate attorney with big firm and significant in-house SaaS licensing experience to serve as lead counsel for dynamic data-driven business unit and its divisions. This is a high-profile, multi-disciplinary role which offers lots of opportunity for growth. This lawyer will serve as a team leader, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage lawyers and other professionals. Core responsibilities include: negotiating and drafting strategic partner, vendor and complex outsourcing agreements; advising and providing practical solutions to senior leadership teams on a wide range of business and strategic legal issues; managing compliance and regulatory matters (including data privacy); and serving as an escalation point for attorneys and staff. Significant experience negotiating complex customer-facing commercial agreements, including SaaS, IT technology partnership, and outsourcing agreements required.
