Description
Global NASDAQ life sciences technology company seeks 10+ year corporate attorney for a leadership role responsible for developing and executing global strategic legal initiatives. Reporting to the CEO, the VP Legal will manage the internal legal function, advise senior management on company strategies and their implementation (including acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures), manage SEC compliance, disclosure and reporting, and manage outside counsel relationships. The VP Legal will advise and counsel multiple teams throughout the global organization, be directly involved in complex business transactions and critical contractual negotiations, provide support to senior management on corporate governance matters and risk management, support Human Resources on employment and labor matters, and ensure legal compliance globally. Minimum of 10+ years of corporate legal experience which must include top law firm and/or experience in-house on a legal team at a public company. In addition, significant corporate, securities, and transactional experience required. Life science or manufacturing company experience preferred.
