ASSOCIATE / IP (LIFE SCIENCES)

Large Boston-based firm is seeking a 2nd - 5th year associate with a degree in chemistry or biological sciences. A PhD in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry or in a related discipline is strongly preferred. Prior patent prosecution or litigation experience with small molecule drugs and/or biologics is also preferred. Our Intellectual Property (IP) Department offers a broad platform and includes: patent prosecution, post-grant proceedings, diligence, opinions, counseling and strategic IP advice. The IP Department also works closely with the Litigation/Controversy Department in IP litigation matters at the trial and appellate levels, including Hatch-Waxman and biological products.
